Finland;s National breed.
We bought our first Finnish Spitz in 1990 and got hooked immediatly , such
an adorable litle red girl, named Siru.
Our dogs are superb housedogs and guards, they are exellent with children
and are marvelous pets and compagnions also enjoys to be cudled forever!
They are small enough to fit comfortably into a modern house but have the
personality of a large dog.
The coat is tipical of the spitz breeds and has also NO specific dogsmell.
They are a exeptionally clean breed and its enjoyable to watch how they wash
themselves and each other.
They are fun-loving ,keen and alert , always interested in what is taking
place and romp with one of us ore with the kids.
The Finnish Spitz has a special affinity for children with whom he is most
trustworthy, should the game become overly rough , he will not attempt to
retaliate but simply walk away.
Our dogs are completly happy as members of our household and loves to go on
holidays with us to Austria and France , they enjoys to do long hiking
trails , biking (ore sitting in the basket ) obedience and agility.
They are also very good mousers , i think even better as a cat!
And loves a good romp in the snow.
Somethimes we have puppy's available raised in the family.
